This
Dry Riser inlet is situated in Carlton Road directly south of the
inspection pit. It would be used to pump foam into the M27 pipe
culvert in the event of fire.

The
pipeline travels west from the bunkers then south down Hill Road at B
where it then turns west once more. C is
the top of Richmond Rise and D playing
fields.

route. The original 4 foot concrete posts and chainlink are still

which the local kids called 'Dracula's grave'! The pipeline turns 90
degrees south (right) at this point.
