Introduction

This is the first in a series of walks that I have produced to allow others to visit and appreciate the heritage of Portsdown.

Details

Distance: 1.5 miles (2.4Km)
Time required: 1 hour 30 minutes
Conditions: Good. Suitable for families. Ordinary footwear may be worn. Slopes are not too excessive
Disabled access: Possible with a fit helper or two with the probable exception of Candy's Pit
Facilities: Burger and Ice Cream vans at the Viewpoint. Click here for the best Café ever in Cosham. No public toilets.
What else to do: Royal Armouries Museum at Fort Nelson to the West. Free parking and admission. Open all year
